A key touchpoint in the new LDN flagship was the Running Lab. Our ambition was to make a totally unique surreal interactive experience that ties expression creation with sport movement. Through the use of photography, kinetic typography and graphics we created a dynamic procedurally generated system that presents various popular running locations of London in a digitally raw, surrealist running experience. During which a Run genie analyser is attached to the user allowing the experience representative to recommend the best running shoe for that individual. The users running movement is also captured with through a Kinect camera which in turn manipulates and reinterprets the content, making every experience completely unique to the user. After the run is completed the user is prompted to download a shareable digital snapshot (still & video) of their unique experience to their smartphone.
